Our classes and camps are the most amazing, informative, educational, and just plain fun activities available to the medically interested general public. Classes are provided for all age groups. We have classes covering physiology, anatomy, and many diseases as well as medical procedure skills. Only in actual medical school can you learn some of the procedures we teach. Our week long camps cover an enormous variety of information and skills.

A description and history of x-rays. Examination of an actual x-ray tube and container. Review of normal and abnormal radiographs (x-ray pictures). The new digital x-ray pictures plus the more common radiograph film x-ray are reviewed. Students receive hands-on examination of the inside of an x-ray housing and the x-ray tube as well as x-ray films. Lung anatomy and physiology. Overview of lung diseases such as copd, emphysema, pneumonia, bronchitis, asthma, pulmonary embolus, pneumothorax, and pleural effusion. Lung auscultation and sounds. Blood gases and the administration of oxygen. Mechanical ventilation. Review of pulse oximeter, oxygen saturation, oxygen tanks, oxygen masks, and nasal cannulas. Demonstrating intubation, cricothyroidotomy, thoracentesis, and chest tubes procedures. Nasotracheal tubes, endotracheal tubes, and tracheal tubes. Review of radiographs (pictures) of the chest and lungs. Student receive hands-on instructions on intubation (throat tubes), inserting chest tubes, thoracentesis (removing fluid from the lung), and administering oxygen.
