Learning to use an abacus and performing calculations on the abacus not only activates and stimulates both sides of the brain, but it also can enable the child to master the skill of doing math calculations mentally.
The abacus can remove the fear of mathematics. It can help memory and photographic memory as the abacus picture can be visualized mentally. The abacus will enable the child to master arithmetic functions. The benefits of abacus use can be accomplished by simple basic use.
